BREYTING X ARTIST COMMUNITY
After years of talking about it, we're doing it! Breyting is building a community with other craft businesses, creatives, and change-makers.
The new community is being designed and planned around its members' values, interests, and visions. These live-work homes will be owned and work independently from each other, but share a common bond to improve the community's economic, social and environmental conditions while producing products that benefit society—capitalism guided by values and ethics.
This project has been in the works for several years. Many non-profits and businesses have shared their knowledge to help this project become a reality—progress through collaboration :) Breyting is actively negotiating several options, including unique ecological land options where the community will act as the guardians and caretakers of the land, water, and wildlife.
